Philips globes are made with quartz glass I think. They OEM too if I remember correctly. Both will do the job, I would lean toward the side of Philips. Philips has new bulbs that are coloured and fully legal too if you interested in that type of thing.

Night breakers dont last I used them in my E46 but no good. I even hat the REP from Osram deliver a new set for they had a bad batch and last me a month before they started to blow. the new set lasted 6 monthst and ja time for new ones. In my E90 I went with Hella and they lasted.

Now I got a beemer with Xenon and I must say wow raise: what a differance( my first car with Xenons) I know they are expensive but hell I will take a car with Xenons from now on :thumbs:

Depends on how much you drive at night. In the end fitted China Town lights and they lasted also more than a year so it must be a Night breaker problem :fencelook:

Seems on both occasions you got a dodgy batch for some unknown reason.

I have been using Night breakers for many years now and never had any issues with them.

H7's and worlds apart from H4's in terms of light output. So for me i saw the biggest change on my beemer when i replaced bulbs

On a side note i think they also only lasted a year in my Honda.

Ok so i got down to installing the bosch last night and im very impressed with the light quality. Its got a nice soft white look and range is amazing. Will monitor how long they last and if the quality changes over time :thumbs:
