I've been using these for about 2 months now and I'm very happy with it. I have an e90 LCI and i'm on motorplan. I was a bit concerned about it when I took it in to have the front passenger seat belt sensor checked out (that's another story which is also in this forum) anyways, they didn't have any issues with it and it doesn't throw any errors.

The lighting is way better than the OEM lights.
Did you have the stickers on the globe housings ?? and did you tear or take them off??

There weren't any stickers on mine so I guess its fine? Ag but I don't think it will be a problem. There are guys on this forum that make much bigger cosmetic mods to their cars and their motorplans are not affected.

No stickers on mine either! I wouldn't even regard this as a mod - it's like being told which brand of petrol you may use. As long as it is within spec and of good quality it is fine! Think of these bulbs as, instead of filling up with normal 95 unleaded, you are now able to fill up with 98 unleaded...

Of course not sure of another analogy for the diesel peeps! :fencelook:

But I think you know what I am saying...

So my left side headlight bulb has fused, is the nightbreakers the best replacement option?

I read a few reviews saying that these bulbs dont last that long?

Also where in Cape Town would be the best place to buy these, Midas?

Well, hopefully the Nightbreaker Plus have a better lifespan, at least that's what they claim! Fitted them to both my car and my Wife's car - had to replace one pair on her car a little over a year after fitting them (one of the bulbs went, so replaced the pair with the newer Plus version). Now the brights are still the old ones and so are the ones on my car, so let's see how long those last...

But the brightness and whiter colour of these bulbs is worth it!

Edit: So far Midas has had the best prices for these...
