BMW 116i 5DR A/T (F20) (2015) 2015/02/26

Retail Value R 247,300

EXTENDED – Single - R 13,613

EXTENDED – Monthly - R 851

how do attach their pdf file here?

Wara, I have also been searching for an after market plan and for me it did not add up or make sense. I have a 2012 X5 and was quoted about the same as you, about R850/month. Remember they have restrictions on the claims and and often only pay in percentages. Please double check what is covered and what percentage. Also check the access.
They also mention the vehicle has to serviced at agent or RMI accredited.
Other thing is that you need to do it before it goes off plan.
Just made more sense for me not to take the cover as I maintain the vehicle myself and the savings would also assist instead of taking to a dealer to service.

Well if you don't opt to extend the plan, Innovation warranty has the option of unlimited cover at BMW for the first 2 years provided you sign up just before the motorplan expires.

So only wear & tear items would be for your account like brakes and services etc.
The condition is that it must be maintained at BMW.
I still have the warranty on my E90 but now on a capped plan due to age and no longer required to be maintained at the dealer.
+- R400pm.

But ya, extend the plan or sell that car hey...

thanks, you got any contact details for Innovation ?

Sell and buy a 120d.

He would probably still want peace of mind with a plan to cover the car. Even though it’s said to be more reliable than the 116

Received a call from ABSA, offering an extended warranty on the X3 (plan expires Apr 2020) for R297 pm. It's underwritten by the Innovation Group. Consultant mentioned I'm covered, as in fully indemnified, against mechanical and electronic issues.

Any of you guys are aware of this, or took out this cover? I signed up for it, but still need to scrutinize the policy docs. They won't cover wear and tear, but I think looks like great value for what it offers.
