Opinions to take refund or keep car

Thank the option of full refund. You will have to also sell the car one day and all of this will play negatively then! Remember what interested you when you wanted to buy the car (one owner, full service history, etc...) this car doesn't have any of that so why should the next person buy it????

Unfortunately they were not willing to negotiate . Admittedly it is a clean car and they will probably will get their price. But as much as I wanted to keep the car in the end it doesn't make sense to pay full retail for the history the car had and the poor service

if you (and your heart) really want this car, nows the right time to negotiate

either ask for a full refund
or
offer to "still" take the car, but at a negotiated reduced price (-15% or so ?), due to the lies and deception, basically depreciating the price of the car, so a small "cash-back", which you now could use towards having the car really get a good "once-over" at somebody like....ummm...Gizmo

so the question is, what does your heart say ?

I knew that my E38 was not well looked after, and when I took it for a test drive, I pointed out these faults to the salesman, the negotiated the price down (ala Mike from "wheeler-Dealer")
but my heart was in LUV with the E38, and I really wanted her

Thank you all :ty: So I have taken on the refund. Now after owning my first BMW for all of two weeks after a year of looking , I need to find a replacement hopefully quicker this time. Looking for an E46 Msport or individual preferably a 6 cylinder or possibly a E90 msport. Please let me know if anyone comes across anything.

Take refund and run..... :fencelook:.
I had a similar problem as you are having, I tried keeping the car but in the first 2 and a half weeks that car broke down had engine problems.
I tried my best to keep the car but after I spent over R5500 in 2 half weeks on condition that I would be refunded.
Even though I fixed most of the problems more where coming up.
moral of story is don't keep the car even if you like it.
Rather cut your losses and look for better one.
Take the refund. :sorry:

So I finally got my refund today! Am on the hunt again for a e46 individual or msport, or possibly an e90 but prefer the e46. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
