Looks good man and at a good price, I'm also not sure about the front wheel drive I mean RWD is BMW's signature...

Bud, get the VIN and ask a BMW dealer to run a history/comment check for you.
Also, the 5.2L engine seems suspect, just like fwd...

Condition and mileage look good but don't match the price. Probably worth looking into.

ps. Ignore the dumb salesman who added incorrect information and investigate the car yourself.

I would be sceptical about it being a 2002 as well. I look at it and it looks to be a 2000 to maybe 2001. The lights are pre-facelift and LCI's were late 2001/2 models (unless been in a bang and replaced with pre - LCI equipment....). Best to get vin and run a check as previously suggested.

The bonnet looks really weird (not talking about reflection).

Car does look like its been cared for.

Horrible interior.

I have seen much cleaner examples go for similar prices

Yeah best is to go check it out, pictures tend to hide a whole lot of surprises:cartel:

Didn't the PDC become standard circa 2002? I don't see the tell-tale PDC sensors.

OK - being down on the coast, I am going to put this one on the "move-along" list. However, if any Fanatic is in that area, I'd be keen to hear some first-hand feed-back on this car. Just putting that out there.

Thanks to all for the comments, much obliged. :clapper:

Thanks all for your input. :clapper:

I am giving this one a skip.

101000 KM and the interior looks like that.. look at the seats and the lower plastic covers on the front seats. So used that the colour is off and showing the white already.. kilos definitely tampered.. let it slide by

This was a big warning sign for me. My car has 5k less than this one and my seats look practically new still...

I could swear that I saw this car advertised for R99,000 a few months back - those headlights are 2000 year model.

If its accident free, runs smooth and you get it for the right price AND you aren't scared to get your hands dirty - would be nice to rescue it

Sometimes these cars can be diamonds in the rough (sometimes not)

Agreed on the Bonnet. It just looks off.

Good day all,

Stumbled upon this today, wonder if any Fanatics out there know the car in question, and opinions are open to the table. Besides that it is unique in that it is probably the only one-of-a-kind front wheel drive M5 out there :crazylaugh:

Appreciate any and all comments ...

Lol 5.2 and FWD! That's all kinds of wrong. But it looks worthy of a check, I say go look at the car extensively and find out.
