Just as a rule, the owner of the Forum , believes that no should be banned permanently....we have given repeat offenders many chances to "see the light" and only if there is no hope for that person, does that user become permanently banned. We know of many people with aliases and using more then one account on the forum, believe it or not, the staff are not here to police and condone everything that is said and done on the forum....

with regards to posting on the forum, take 2seconds to think before you hit the enter button after you have typed something out.....

The real circumstance of matter in regards to this topic is that when you have an arrogant shit-faced forumite that believes that his superiority far outweighs that of others, this will indeed and unquestionably happen. The ruthless repercussions are what you are witnessing now. :thumbs:

My point is that although this is a great forum, personal attacks are not overlooked and many members (myself included in previous matters) will gladly step to the forefront in defense. The title itself (titled by Nicbyte himself) would have immediately shown its abrasiveness at the onset. Despite this being a virtual forum, I am pretty sure that many would concur that Nicbyte treading on fine lines and with continued persistence, will be tramping on the toes of people who go far past being keyboard ninja’s. :thumbs:

Nobody to my knowledge has a permanent ban. There are only 4 people on the ban registry. Fordkoppie, sankeur, calypso and one other. The first 3 all only have a 30 day ban.

Generally we do not believe in permanent bans. Oh and now nicbyte is also on the ban list and that is permanent but there is no hope for that guy.

Funny how we preach that we do not support the slander of members, but yet when a former member is gone we all jump on the bandwagon with name calling, shitty jokes, and blatant insults...and this is allowed just because the member in question is no longer here... :nonono:

How then to proceed if by some way this member repents, and comes back to the forum??

Like it was said by another Moderator, no member is ever permanently banned, so this is totally possible for Nicbyte to return, and so any other member that has previously been banned.

This is why I refrained from partaking in this thread, and endulging in the childish banter that was thrown around by members, some of whom haven't even been part of the forum for very long, but yet feel the need to offer their sarcastic oppinions on a member and matters they really don't even know much about...

I really hope, that all of you can look at my post in a positive manner, and not as an attack on anyone.

I myself have had arguments and fallouts with other members, and even quit as Admin before, and it was said I would never be a moderator or Admin again, and yes...I was also called names behind my back, and posts made insulting me, and yet, look where I am again?!?

When he was first banned, there was no name calling or slandering (as far as I know), it all broke loose when he came back and started talking about "taking down the forum" and other nonsense. Then he just became a laughing stock of the forum.
To be perfectly honest, this thread gave me a really good laugh. Not because I'm childish, but because all members joined together to have a laugh at a simple douche!
