On road costs

Anybody knows what the on road costs are on bmw premium selection vehicles, if any?

I know used car dealers vary with these costs.

Give them a counter offer and insist price you see includes on the road costs.

I agree and have done it. The Price I see is the price I pay not all that bull on the road cost

Just paid R3500 at SMG , you get it back in a full tank, presents, lisence and reg etc etc

Why are the costs so ridiculous? Is it not just roadworthy, license and change of ownership, or does it include something else being that the car is being sold from a dealer?

My guess was that it is some BS admin fee.

Number Plates, motor plan transfer and the time the dealer's drive/guy has to wait in the queue.

IIRC on my e90 320d and e90 325i, I paid R5500 for each vehicle:fencelook:

Its exactly that, change of ownership is between R200-R300

Figured it was all just inflated for "convenience" sake, and so that it gives them some free money to negotiate with.

You see the same inflated prices with non-dealer companies where motorplan wouldn't be a consideration in terms of transfer costs.
