Showing my age here, but I can at least say that I have actually seen the M1 in action at the Wynns 9 hour, at Kyalami, racing against the Zakspeed Fords, etc! I also lived in Welkom (believe it or not!) for a few years and attended every single race at the old Welkom racetrack (before it became Phakhisha, or whatever) Tony Viana, before his death, lived in Odendaalsrus, which was almost a suburb of Welkom. He ran the entire Winston BMW racing team from his Odendaalsrus premises.... Lovely sounding BMW's against the old Skylines, Alfa GTV's and Ford XR6's....:thumbsup:
