Eish, some people are really pessimistic sometimes.
Yes, there is being realistic, but don't shoot a man down when he has dreams he is willing to fight for.
Rather give some positive input, ask questions on how he would do that, other than telling him that he is wasting his time.

I'm certain that is not the type of advice he is looking for.

Come on gents, upliftment is key here.

That's just my 2 cents.

Referring to some of the car youtube videos it's a bit like millionaires talking about starting a business easily from scratch... with $1M and generational knowledge of business :biglol:

Anyway I am not being negative here actually as retrofitting SOME of these items is not impossible IMHO - just not easy. Sensors, connectivity, processing and setup/calibration/programming thereof.

The first two are quite easy to find. However, if you have any hope of integrating them in a semi-OEM type way (especially some of the aids you are talking about), my approach would be to find a totalled F-series car, tow it into your yard and start pulling each system end to end and figuring out how to retrofit it to your project.

Bear in mind though that this can be a minefield even just retrofitting systems to cars that could be specced with them from the factory...
