Old M3 or new 435

Simple question... I am pretty sure I know my view and reasons, but curious about the rest of you?

Would you take/keep a manual, previous gen M3 Convertible (E93) or a new Auto 435i

Are you at the coast or reef?

Honestly. Vert should be DCT.
Get a ///M Dynamic manual and do a Schnitzer or equivalent exhaust, this is if you a driving enthusiast.
As for between the choices you put up, keep the ///M. Having driven both, the 435i is extremely underwhelming although you will enjoy the torque low down.
Keep the ///M, do a ACS exhaust and enjoy it even more.

If I could find someone interested in swapping I would, but not such an easy proposition.

Yes, I wish the Vert was a DCT, but alas, it isn't.

The performance is special, but the M3 is my daily drive, it doesn't need to be any faster or noisier (and it has a Remus exhaust)

Why would you go from one of the last proper M cars to something else?

Purely because the M has over 80,000km on the clock, the vert is a bit noisy at times (with the roof up only) and I was looking for something more refined and of course much newer - but I don't necessarily want to go backwards/downgrade.

I would wait for the M4 then decide

No, the M4 is not an option for me. I refuse to pay over a million rand for a BMW - perhaps in 2016 I'll consider a 2yr old used M4 with 30,000km :)

So trade the vert for a E92 or E90.

Drive the e93 to the dealer, take the 435i for a drive and see bud!
Will definitely be less dramatic but a good drive nonetheless

I have a 435i and a few other cars.

I have owned a few Mpowers and still say Mpower is Mpower. No need to say anymore.

The thrill factor just differs.
