Oil leak

Hi all,

I need some help. My mother's bmw is leaking oil as if it is a fountain. We did take it to someone to have a look at it but now the guy say that the gasket went... Could this be possible even though my mother stopped immediately when the red oil light came on?

Don't know... my mother was talking with the person and she just told me that... So not sure

My mother's BMW is also leaking, not as bad though - two drops every morning:thumbdo:. Changing the head gasket.

Valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, sump gasket, rear seal - main head gasket is a different story though I would think in terms of repair work.

Have you been able to take a look at the car? If there is loads of oil all over the place, best is to try and clean up as best you can, then try and see where the remaining oil is coming out...
