I pulled the motor to install a 320d 6spd box, 240mm clutch and a few other things for the turbo motor. I am changing the angle at which the engine sits in the engine bay to make more space on the exhaust side, the engine will be tilted 10deg more verticle by the use of the diesel gearbox.

Here is the diesel box next to the M3 6spd i had in the car.

Note the angle.

Spare m44 block bolted to the diesel box and in place in the engine bay, in this pic the engine is sitting at the correct angle.

More to follow next week, btw, I will be doing an entirely new thread for the actual turbo build.

As stated earlier, it makes the engine sit 10deg more vertical.
