Thanks to all the Fanatics for an excellent day.
I learned a thing or two from fellow fanatics today.

I'll try to post a few pic's later tonight.

Thanks for driving over 300km to join us! Was nice meeting you :)

300km x 2 actually. But it was fun. And a pleasure to meet fellow fanatics.

I'll probably be at Tarlton next month. 100km's shorter drive one way. And I can practice the tips I got from you guys today, as I'm sure I can improve my times - although I have no idea what 1/4 mile times I ran.

That was fun, I enjoyed the convoy to the track!

Didn't stay long, just did three runs on the 1km and called it a day, managed a best 242 I think. Will wait for the results.

Saw a lot of fanatics there!

14,1sec Riaan, which is pretty good for a noob with a stock standard car!

Nish, deflation was the key to kicking the C63s butt!! definitely my favourite fanatics run.

Was good to have a fanatics day out.
And meeting the guys.

I did 227km/h and ran a 13.7 and 13.8 over the speakers but one was reported as a 13.08 on the toilet boards.

An improver is the odi timing equipment and results translation. It really seems inconsistent and unprofessional.
Nonetheless a good day out.

Thanks to all for making it happen. !!!!!

We should do a fanatics day at Tarlton one of these days.

Thanks for the great day out guys, thoroughly enjoyed the day! Some Awesome runs, especially Neesh destroying the C63, made my freaking day! The Merc driver just went and parked off after that.
Fanatics represented there yesterday, some people asking if it was a BMW day! :rollsmile:Congrats to all on some impressive runs!
My launch was pretty much spot on it e after time, not bad for a track virgin.
Managed 217km/h on the 1km and a 14.37 1/4mile according their times.

Tarlton is gonna rock! :joy:

Great idea Andy. I reckon that we shud convo there as well, my GF was amazed by the unity and respect by all that we're there, she couldn't stop saying how impressive the "togetherness" was and very much like A team. Well behaved in the road, way under the speed limit. When those other x35s came flying passed, actually said, the fact that our group is not doing that Abd is waiting for the track is fantastic.

It definitely looked like a BMW day to me. And Mazda actually.

Lots of fun, some interesting duels sign us bmws... That was the best for me I think.

I bettered my last 1km exit with 223 and did a 13.9. Which was cool, coz that's what I wanted to do

Great day but ODI MUST work on there speaker system and timing results. it was a bit confusing to say the least.

I did 232km/h on the 1km and a 13.4et @ 175 on the 1/4mile but that was according to my Vbox. I have no clue what the ODI times of my 1/4mile run was.
