To everyone that came, thanks it was a brilliant day out!
I think the Fanatics demanded respect with our cars, and the crowd was nice.

To everyone that brought chairs, the gazebos the everything :ty:

How many km is it from samrand to odi?

55-ish..

Wrong. ~70km.

Pretty hectic drive getting to that place though. Did not realise you had to do some township tours to get there, especially since some of us missed the offramp and took the scenic route :fencelook:

Haha

Yes you do question the GPS when feeling lost in between all the informal houses on the way there

So traction was still crap and the semis were actually worse on the strip than the Michelin PS2's. :dunno: And the speedo over reads by 20km/h with the 18 inch rims and the 265/35 tyres. So my best 1km run achieved me 220km/h, not shabby for a stocker. I must admit the semis is way better in corners than the stock Michelins though. :mmm:

I didn't use the GPS. :fencelook:
I filled up this morning and reset the trip counter, when I got back home, it showed 158km. :mmm:

It was a fantastic day guys I won't lie. Depsite the sun cooking most of the morale out of us we managed to 1km runs which was the main event in my eyes. The 400m was fun and toward the end not even timed.

Tiaan broke some records today, but I won't spoil the fun. I'll leave it in his very capable hands!

Oh yes 1km 222kmh was the best speed of the 3 runs. Didn't try again after that.

Best 1/4 was 14.18. Would've liked to see what a stock Z4M made.

andy your car is flippen impressive for NA

As Rolf mentioned today, over 200 everything comes much slower...thats luxury cars running with GTIs and STs
