Go and buy a cheapy at your nearest bike shop! It needn't be a super duper carbon fibre full face piece of biker-motive art. Open face is comfortable and cheap. And you won't pick up all kinds of scalp and hair germs and diseases.. :rollsmile::rollsmile:

Also if you have very close friends also attending you could borrow theirs? Seeing as the 1km runs are solo. 1/4 mile might pose a problem unless you run out of sequence.

But a Cheapie sounds like the best bet.
