ODI Meetup - 17 November 2013

What a day :ty:
The day started with me getting 2 hours of sleep the night before due a work related issue, I woke up to blood shot eyes :=):.
Redshert aka Richard and M3_Devil aka Gideon, meet at my place at 05:45 and headed out to meet the rest of the guys near Silver Stars Casino, we had to leave early due to the road closures for the 94.7 Cycle Challenge.
On arrival, some coffee and Red Bull to help get me going.
Eric arrived....
A few more guys started to filter in
A slow drive to ODI after 10 stops along the way, the guys setup camp
Tools out...and getting ready to race
Try to cool the cars down
First up, was the 1km. On my first run I managed to do 244Km.
On the 2nd run, think i managed 248 / 249 after getting some heat in the tires. Thanks Dewalt for the advise. Traction was really bad for me, I was interested in the 1/4 miles at this point

Was all in all a good day guys... Some of my pics were put up by Rowen:thumbs: (Quality is bad because of the poor Zoom)
Anyway...
The day started of much the same for us... Kimeran and I saw some local talent showing of their version horsepower on our trek out to ODI...
Once we managed to outrun the local a$$-power (4AP = 40 HP) we reached the track and set out to have a few 1 KM runs....

Lastly a few shots of the beast prior to the Quarter mile runs...
Big thanks to Rowen for getting a few guys together.... Was a great meet...

Thanks for a top day yesterday. 1st run of the day was 1km and ran 230. At end of 1km car was spluttering so need new o2 sensors. Ordering vacuum solenoids to resolve my boost issues then will go back and see she does on 1km and 400m. Thanks again guys
