Odd sound on 335i start up ?

Hi all

My mate has recently noticed this odd sound just after start up and he's worried as it was not there previously & the agents can't "fix" it.

Can anyone diagnose the sound and should be worried ?

I also have a ticking noise, especially noticeable on cold starts. Lots of videos on youtube about the same kind of noise which according to forums is nothing.
George smooth confirmed it was the injectors and is normal.

I was told by the workshop manager that, that sound on cold start up is the lifters. Was also told its a normal sound.

Then about three weeks later they had to change my vanos solenoid...

Thanks all for the info, my mate just sold the car a got a 520d in place.
