Odd Beep Noise-E36 328i Auto

So gents my 328i is making a odd noise, when you turn the car on and drive about 2kms odd it gives three distinct beeps, similar to the beep it gives when the temp goes below 3 degrees but 3 of them?

No warnings on the screen and no warning lights on the dash?

Anyone have an idea what it is?

Mine used to beep constantly when I put it in reverse. That is until I found the beeper thing in the driver footwell and promptly disconnected it.

exactly like that, but it beeps inside the car which is even more annoying.

Well the other beeps on the E36 is the memo function, if you press the memo a siren pic appears on the clock, this will beep every minute before the new hour.

If you are doing 2km in 1 hour perhaps this is the noise you are hearing :biglol:

Thanks gents, its something to do with the memo functions. I pressed it the other day while fiddling. How do i turn it off now?

Just press the memo button again and it will be switched off.
