Ive been told by the dealer that there will be some improvement in performance by riding a higher rated fuel or avgas. The e36 m3 at low revs high throttle will ping a little on 95.
Also remember just because its says 95 on the pump that doesnt mean its what your getting in your tank. Petrol station fuel is closer to 92.
The above is NOT true!
There may be the extremely rare unscrupulous dealer but essentially everytime you buy 95 you get +95 RON fuel.
Does anyone know whose website this is:
http://www.fuelexpert.co.za
I am very interested in chatting with anyone affiliated with this site. Pity theres no contact number
Whatever you read on that site, take it with a pinch of salt.
They were outed on the ST site, NF pretty much tried give it to DF in the butt, they were caught, same admins, same IP, same domain, same server etc.
The moment they (NF) caught on they took their "testing" off and it seems they changed their entire site.
If you want to speak to a fuel expert, try to get hold of leonleon one the ST site, this guy is a fountain of knowledge (he has some or other degree in something fancy related to petrol and all things in the earth - to lazy to go look), he'll tell you what you want to know.
OB makes a huge difference on a force fed motor.
