numberplate fitment e90

Sorry if this was already asked..did google but did not find anything on s.a pages...

Whats the neatest and best way to fit numberplates on e90?

Most just fit directly onto the front bumper and boot with double-sided tape. Looks pretty neat...

Brother and I fitted his new plates over the weekend.

Removed the Numberplate bracket as it was rusted.

Double sided tape and fitted to the back.

On the front we removed the number plate holder as well as the Numberplate bracket (OEM part that fits over bumper to hold numberplate) and also double sided tape.

Looks good.

Removed the number plate holder and the ugly metal bracket and its now stuck directly to the bumper

Noticed that 2-way tape doesn't work too well with the metal number plate like mine due to the bumper being a bit round at the front

Heavy Duty Valcro... Works best.. And you can pull the plate off if you need to for show and shines... :rollsmile:

I use velcro coins, looks great and you can remove the plates when you wash the car or when you're at events

Its hook and loop. I put the hook on the car and loop on the numberplate.

Yes the hook (hard plastic) goes on the car, otherwise you'll get water stuck in it and the hooked part is more durable.
