Ok so we're at the Manchester United vs Liverpool football party right, and outside by the braai talking about cars, the host says we must come check this other bra's car, fuckin' nice BMW. So we go out and see another silver E46 like mine, but it's a 328i. So we go closer to inspect it, see what's the deal.
It has the boot lip spoiler which I want, clear lights front and back, and clear indicators, an AC Schnitzer badge and an Alpina badge below the lights on the boot, not opposite the 328i badge, which I don't like, and it has what looks like 18" Schnitzer replica wheels

Something like this, but obviously a replica, it isn't really a split wheel. Has the fake bolts
So I keep walking
At the front, it has a different bumper. But not at the back and no different sideskirts. So it's an E46 M3 replica front bumper. It has body colour fogs in and a silver mesh, but it's not the same silver as the car and it doesn't line up on the driver's sides. So it looks like it's for a coupe and not a sedan, there is a panel gap
Ok so I look at the interior, and there is nothing different. So we discuss it a bit, then go back in. So I talk to the guy
And he says the bumper, angel eyes (which I didn't see), and the exhaust, plus the spoiler, cost him 55k.
Yes you read right. 55 thousand rand.
I don't say "Don't talk ###", and just keep asking questions. I bit my lip. So I ask him if the car's engine is stock and he laughs that brekgat laugh that some guys at Killarney or Fast and The Furious do, to indicate "nooo brah, this ain't stock, did a little something something". Now I'm really interested, because I want to hear what kak is next
He runs a 335i with it.
I still entertain his kak talk, so I can hear what mods. So I look kinda impressed to fool him into talking more
So I ask him what does he have under the hood to allow him to run 335i's and he says "full software"
I was really amazed then because an N/A car won't make more than about 10% maybe 15% with just a tune, right?
So, he says he's making about 183kW now, and about 387Nm torque
Which is honne KAK because the 328i only makes 142kW and 280Nm stock, but he claims his was 160-ish
So I resist hitting him in his gevriet with the hot braai grid and ask more stuff
I really wanted to go take a run with him, but I had been drinking so I leave it at that
Now I don't dislike the guy, and I won't post his plate or something like that, but it is bragging idiots like this (who think everyone else is oblivious to their incorrect figures and lies) that give us (BMW drivers like him) a bad name, in company
