Or you can find a used one from a scrappy, but you can't really know how long it will last.

im currently sue-ing rdg for 35k for their workman ship and at this stage maybe theft of a motor that they wanted to diagnose as to why it broke ,they do not work on modified cars,something they tell you only after you've paid them

Hey guys.

UPDATE:
You can imagine my joy when i got the call telling me that my gearbox is 100% fine! :clap:

The problem is in the diff, one of the splines is stripped and the reason the guys at the first workshop got the car to run again was because they jacked the rear end up, in doing so it pushed the spline in deeper so the car moved until it slipped out again. So the whole operation of taking the box out was a "waste" of time, but not a bad thing as the sump was drained and inspected for fillings and it is going to be topped up with new oil!

Hopefully i will have her back on the road by next week!
