A Quick Update on this bundle of joy! :joy:
We collected the car today with the repair, or rather fix complete... They tested the amp and found nothing wrong, they checked the wiring and found no fault... They plugged the amp back in and somehow the problem has vanished!
The car is currently parked up waiting for Wednesday when it will go through to Wessie at Lux to have the custom splitter molded. This is what we have in mind:
However more subtle and without the tie rods.
The reason for the splitter is mostly practical more than style. Nick lives on a farm which initially has a gravel path leading to a paved driveway. With the ride height currently so low it often scrapes and especially when changing road surfaces in parking lots and tight spaces.
The splitter will wrap around the front of the bumper and follow through all the way underneath the car lining up with the front wheel arches protecting not only the lip of the bumper but complete underside of the car.
It will be sprayed in the same gloss black the mirrors and roof pulling the colour scheme together nicely.
More updates coming soon!
