It amuses me how everyone gets thier panties in a twist when ever M does something new. what people forget is that motorsport is about innovation. Oh, how they must have screamed when they dropped the turbo 2002. Oh how they screamed when they introduced teh turbo. Oh, how they screamed when they dropped the 4 cylinder for a straight six, oh, how they screamed when they dropped the straight 6 for a v8.

I am surprised that it took this long for BMW to introduce a performance AWD system, if they waited this long it should be fantastic!!! I have a feeling this will be the one to get. I await the test drives with baited (sic) breath.

I have a feeling that we will see the RWD whipping the AWD version on the track tests :thumb:

Also people tend to forget that some of BMW's market lives in cold weather places with lots of ice and snow...and taking into account the amount of power this thing has and perhaps snow tires/chains not being ample, Im sure their clientele would love a performance Bimmer that can handle in cold (icy) weather conditions...thus it being offered as an option.

Conclusion: Quite bishing! :)
