New to the forum and I have finally bought myself a lovey 2010 135i N55 DCT.

I am loving it more and more.

They are something special, just wish I had Xenons, but otherwise everything about the car is perfect, it only has 59000kms and it is still under Motorplan.

I will upload more pics soon once I have completed a few mods.

Have you done any performance mods to yours?

Nice! Mine is 2011 and has the xenons ~42000km at the moment. I only did the BMW Performance Exhaust. No motorplan though.

Planning on doing downpipe, BMS intake,JB4 and chargepipe. Maybe meth one day,will see how it goes when MP is finished.

Bought new rear tires and BMW black kidney grills the other day and now I am pretty much done until pay day.

Is there anything that one has to watch out for on the N55 motor or the DCT box?

I hear that the DCT costs about a R100k to replace,so I am starting to think manual might have been a better option.

I think the DCT is a pretty good and strong box, haven't really heard of problems with the box... I just know at just over 100 000km the water pump goes haha happened to me the other day lol

I am lucky mine got replaced when they did quality check last week.
That and a few other things, including the sump gasket which was leaking.
