Good day Ladies and Gents,
Fairly new to the club. Been one of those stalkers who tried to figure out how things work before posting an intro...
Car history is incredibly short but looking back I wouldn't have it any other way.
First car was an RXi which till today I regret selling, however at the time, it was a necessary evil as it financed the 330d. Almost turbo'd the RXi at one point but needed a daily car and figured it wasn't worth the effort so instead I bought a turbo'd box beemer. Was a 323i with a 2JZ motor and a T72 turbo. Car was insanely fun and scary all at once. Have to be honest here and admit that I spent more time under the car then in it
I’m slightly pedantic about my cars and the box needed way too much work to get it to where I wanted it to be.
Decided the more mature decision would be to cut my losses and walk away (read – decided to get married!!!) :hammerhead:
The 330d has been a pleasure since day one. Got her when she had about 60’000km on the clock. Had Sherwin from Xceed open her up as soon as the motor plan ended. Shaheen from TWS hooked me up with a set of 20’s and very recently changed the front bumper and bonnet to the LCI spec (after a brief and rather unplanned encounter with a piece of rubber on the highway).
Read many interesting and insightful threads on the forum and would like to thank the Fanatics team and all its members for the awesome network. Keep up the good work and look forward to meeting up at one of the events…
Cheers!
