Newbie ,,, Just bought my 325i M Sportpack

Hi guys finally part of the BMW family, got me a a e90 06 325i m sport pack, still new to the whole thing always been a ford kinda guy,,,, but glad I made the change,,,,

There are a few issues with the car I hope a can get some answers on, I've googled abit but not really sure as there just to much info and to many possible outcomes for similar issues,,,

Firstly- she is making a ticking like noise sounds like it's coming from the front wheels when turning full on and moving back or forward under 10 km

Secondly - passenger door locks but locking bob doesn't pop up when unlocking...

Further more I think she pretty decent, 100k on the clock

been looking for the culprit with no luck,,,, any ideas?

Hey dude! Welcome.

I had software and exhaust on my 07 330i and in terms of performance, maybe 1 or 2 kw but the throttle response was where most of the improvement was. And it just felt like the car revved easier. The sound that the straight 6 made from the exhaust was heavenly tho.

In terms of cosmetic, a lot of the guys do the following on E90:

Blacked out grills.
Carbon Fibre Mirror Covers.
Carbon Fibre Boot Spoiler.
Carbon Fibre Splitters Front Bumper.

1) jack the car remove the front wheels and check if any plastic clips lose on inner liners, liners are normally removed when installing bulbs.
2) this could be your door actuator, my brother replaced this on his E90 for under a R1000 OEM part
