Its a new car, not a facelift E70. I saw a few in the flesh over Christmas in Europe. The lines are very similar to the E70, from the rear it looks like a new X3.

I will keep my E70 until it is finished, based on the looks of the new F15 there is no real incentive for me to trade up.

I think it looks great, far better than Mercs attempt at the new ML which looks more like a jacked up station wagon. As far as I know thought, the new BMW X5 F15 is based on the underpinnings of the E70 X5. With engines & transmission being carried over one begins to wonder what's the point of buying the newer model. But at least it looks all modern & up to date :thumbs:
