After a long search for the ultimate driving machine for the weekends, I have finally decided on this '00 E39 M5. She has 180 000km on the clock and has had an engine replacement under BMW Motorplan at around 100 000km. It has fully adjustable Bilstein coilovers, Tubi Style branches and exhaust as well as an ECU software upgrade. It drives like new and is in exeptional condition for a car this age. The noise is something else - I am completely smitten by the way this thing sounds and goes!
