Good day

My name is Sylvester and well hehe I recently registered on this forum. This is by far the most informative and most awesome forum I've visited, and well I enjoyed going on to a point that I had to sign up as I'd also like to participate in conversations etc that occur here.

I have always been a Bavaria lover from a young age, even when my dad tried swaying me towards Audi (back when I was 6) he failed. I am a proud BMW lover.

I am currently a 3rd year student doing Accounting (loving every minute of it) and planning on becoming a Chartered Accountant. I also plan on buying my own beemer sometime next year and I am thinking of getting an E46 325ci (I used to drive my dads beemers [2007 E60 525i Msport and E53 X5 3.0d. enjoyed the X5 more though haha]).

Keep us updated on the future purchase, you can get a lot of advice from the forum if you need some when buying the beemer

Thanks, I believe this is the number one place for BMW advice hey. I noticed you own an E90 and I wanted to know how's 'ownership' like? because i took a look at a couple of 2007 and 2008 E90's and they're reasonable priced especially when I compare them to the E46 I would like to get (the 2005 325ci F/L).

Hi, so I am new to this forum..

I'm having issues with my BMW x3 Diesel and have had it with this car! I feel like I just want to sell it as is and get it out of my life ASAP! Some warning lights are currently on. I had someone do the diagnostics on it and they did not pick anything faulty up on it and said it is possibly the "transfer case - which is something that is apparently very costly. (I'm no mechanic..what women know about cars is zero.)

Any suggestions? That would really really help...
(oh, it is a 2008 BMW x3 Diesel Auto with 145kms on)

Hi There,

If you are in Cape Town pop into my workshop and we will do another electronic diagnosis for you. Warning lights on the dash can be distressing especially when you're not sure what they are warning you about.
Has the performance of the vehicle changed in any way?

Unfortunately I am Pretoria. :thumbdo: The diagnostics guy told me it is fine to drive with and the performance has not changed but yes, it is still stressing me out. Its the 4x4, handbrake, ABS light and I think also the airbag light..I have tried advertising it / selling it for R130k as is but the lights on the dash obviously put potential buyers off.

Thank you for your response.

Mel
