hey bro, I was initially after a well kept e36 328 after my envy over Chris' former ride. After about a a year of searching I came across this beauty and she had to come home with me. Happy days!

She looks great. The M52tub28 engine in your car is technically the same engine as the one in the Chris Harvey's e36 328i, which had the original M52B28 engine. The only difference between the two engines were a few technical upgrades to the Vanos and intake. The "tu" on your engine stands for technical update. The Vanos on your engine is dual Vanos where as the e36 M52B28 is single vanos, only having variable valve timing on the intake cam. Your car has variable valve timing on both intake and exhaust cams. The intake plenum looks completely different but other than that, they are essentially the same engine and produce the same output in power, yet the M52tub28 has a better torque delivery due to the dual vanos.

Also the e46 chassis is considered to be more rigid and better handling of the 50/50 weight distribution.

Not to mention it looks amazing. So, I think you have come off rather well.

Enjoy the car and I wish you many happy safe miles.
