New to the Forum.
Previous Beemer owner. Looking for my next one
Previously owned a 135i. Looking at getting a 335i or Golf 6R next.
Still havent decided, I am a BM fan, always have been, but had bad experiences with the N54 engine in the 135i, so Im leaning towards the Golf 6R.
If I go the 335i route , it will be n55 and a sedan, max I would want to do is Stage 2+ , same goes for the Golf R. Any idead on what wheel power a stage 2+ JB4 335i would push compared to a Stage2+ G6 R ?
Also I much prefer the sound of a 335i with full exhaust compared to the lack of exhaust note that comes with a golf even with full exhaust. Seems like you only get the Fart noise when you change lol and not much noise when revving up.
looking at Manuals for both, DCT and DSG maybe be faster, but I enjoy the engaging drive of a manual.
