New to the family

Howzit everyone,

So i have recently bitten the bullet and joined the family of true German style and engineering. Bought my first ever BMW trading from a Citroen DS3 :bangdesk: But what can i say... I am proud and glad I am able to be part of the family.

Finally managed to get some pics on. Still figuring this page out.

Throw suggestions my way.

I bought the car with just over 27 000 on the ODO. 2013 model. Excellent shape. There were a few small scratches on the car and an annoying, yet subtle rattle, they fixed the scratches for me, however, the rattle is back... But, BMW said i must bring the car any day and they will sort it out for me immediately. Just need to find the time... :argh:

There is so far one thing that is on the pipeline and that is the audio package upgrade. Im quite the music connoisseur, so quality audio is a must for me. I awaiting a quotation from BMW themselves, expecting about 12-14k for it. Will keep you posted.

This was the normal 1.6 VTi Design edition. Only made 88kw (fly figure) with 160nm of torque. For a 1.6 N/a it wasnt slow and handles really well for actually just being a C3 with 2 doors and sport suspension... But comparing it to the 125i F20 that I have now bought - it makes 160kw @310nm which is... if you keeping count, almost DOUBLE :joy::thumbs:raise: So the BMW is definitely much better and faster and ,so far, definitely handles better than the DS3.

The DS3 gave me lots of driving pleasure though, but was running out of its service plan and warranty so I have to make an informed decision. I really wanted to drive the DS3 a bit longer. I had an Infinity Sound system installed cuz the factory was a bit shait! So there is still a piece of my soul that needs to be restored... lol



Having said that, we all had to start somewhere, a BMW is something I have wanted to own since i could remember. Car #3 it was a dream that became a reality! :joy:
