Agree with u guys. I personally wouldn't be prepared to fork out around R400k for a car with a 1.6l 100kw engine. Just for that badge, nah I'm good thanx

1) Seems the starting price for ANYTHING worth while in the automotive market is R350k.

2) All manufacturers get flack for bringing in 'entry level' cars (Merc comes to mind)

3) Thing is, overseas you pay tax on the engine capacity, but not in SA, hence the question: why bother. But overseas engine capacity tax is the reason is why you get fully spec'd 316 E90's over there. I've seen ones there that will outsmart some top end models in features.

Run for your life... Most 2.0T engines have been pushing 147kw for a while now as standard but BMW want you to buy the PPK to push the same from the F30 320i?

Now they want to introduce a cheaper model to attract more chaos to the base and add to their rapidly declining service levels? Contradictory decisions by BMW? Milk them or get more clients? What is it now?

I'm ranting because this means more cars on the road hence even worse service levels.. Love the brand but beginning to hate their service.. :nonono:

Adding an M Sport kit to this car is not the smartest move since the price difference between it and the 320i M Sport would be negligible. #My2Pips
