Previous BMW history E30 1990 325i manual
E36 1998 316i manual (still have this car in DBN with around 700 000Km on the clock)
E46 2002 320i steptronic
current drive Golf7 GTI DSG , Golf 6GTI DSG, Ford Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0 powershift
LOoking to get back to the brand, miss the my E46 the most biggest regret was selling it.
Currently looking at a 2016 320i M sport model with B48 engine
104 137KM on the clock,
Browsing through the motorplan history
There are 2 things thats playing on my mind, maybe you guys can give me an indication of your feelings here.
at 44 033Km the car had "F30 reworking the digital motor electron", any idea what that is?
at 92 965km FX GX programming control units (DME)
I also noticed plugs corroded at 72 585KM and 66 230Km - could coolant be leaking into the combustion chamber causing this?
I am not too too worried as I comfortable with a wrench in hand, I rebuilt my Opel 380i V6 engine myself back in the day.
