Hey peeps,

Bought myself a BMW e46 318i individual about 3 months ago. Car drives well, just has a bit of lag when i put my foot down at about 3500RPM. Any advise pls? :=):

Hi Jeff,

I checked out that link and is quite helpfull. My car only loses power now and then at about 3500rpm, but its fine after about 4000rpm. Could that be a dead coil as was stated in the thread as it does not lose power all the time? could it maybe be the PCV valve? :thinking:

Best to get it diagnosed buddy.
Contact a Cpt member like Rick540 as he has the diagnostic equipment.

It varies hey, some guys charge between R150-R500. Depends on the type of equipment they have I guess.
But I'm sure a member here can help you out. :thumbs:
