Yes xenons were an option pre 2003 ... led rear tails were not available before 2004 (convertibles came out in 2004 and those with the led tail lights)... 2001 had the small nav screen if the car had navigation. The cars with led tail lights also had a bigger strip above the number plate

Be wary of discs on this car... Mines was replaced maybe like 5 times under mplan. They do shudder under heavy braking and still shudder for bit even if you drive slow after... This is considered normal

Be wary of smg box from a maintenance point of view. A manual is Def the way to go. Also just a nicer experience. Check the condition of the clutch. If the car has Harmon kardon check if the subs are not blown

Extras on the car were xenons pre 2003, Harmon kardon, pdc rear, TV, navigation, phone, 19s 2004 on (I think) , smg, climate comfort windshield

The car most prob has csl reps... Easy way to tell if genuine csl wheels will be that the part number is embossed on the face of the wheel with original csls

if so, who are these people that bought brand new m3's with halogens :flyfun::roflol:

It shows up as an optional extra if I pull up the build sheet for this car.

Tamper dot only appears when the cluster vin does not match the real vin. (when cluster has been changed and not coded)
+1

The above is correct, so don't go on tamper dot alone. The people that change the odometers do have cables to reset the vin to the correct one. If you do see it run, but don't think it's safe if there is no tamper dot

For that price there is no way in hell, but you can check it with BMW since he claims that it has FSH with them. Otherwise this is a rebuild

I have phoned the dealer. Car was in an accident.

.....and the steering wheel leather is worn from the guy getting a fright during the accident and rubbing the leather right off the steering wheel.........
Also he and his passenger must have k@@ked themselves so much during the accident that they destroyed the seats.........

I was going to say that the right side does not line up however that is the least of the faults.

That there is a wreck.....
