Hi all. Recently sold my wife's 118i and decided its time to put her (and occasionally myself, probably more for myself than her TBH) in something more fun and sporty.
Was between (All 2019 models) a X2 m35i, G01 X3 3.0d and a X3 m40i. Went the irresponsible B58 X3 route.
Very tempted to do the stage 1 MHD map on the vehicle but not so clued up with these things.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome man! Congrats on the M40i - it's a wonderful machine

MHD is pretty straight forward. They''ve got good documentation and there is a lot of chatter on the interwebs.
Just be sure to plonk the car on a proper charger while doing the flashes (especially the first, long, flash).

P.S. Add some pics, preferably in a Showroom thread

Was looking for a MHD wifi adapter to use for the loading of the map. But will keep an eye out. Not sure if I should spend the R3k for one that I wont be using more than once or twice. Thanks for the tip. Will be sure to connect it to a CTEK charger.
Will take some pics tonight.
