Hi guys, I wanted to share my first few days with my new M3...

Never have I been more anxious over a piece of machinery in my entire life. I tried my best to overcome this fear by reading everything that I could about it before finally taking over the reigns.

Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to experience.

Pushing the start button ignited a sense of euphoria in me, that I could never get tired of. The gurgle of the engine gives you an indication of what's hiding within the engine bay. Blip the accelerator and out come the goosebumps. Depressing the clutch, slotting it into first and releasing the clutch was all it took to put a smile on my face.
Wrap your hands around the steering wheel, and you feel every bump on the road, turn the slightest amount or point her in any direction, and she will do nothing but obey you. The feedback makes you feel like you’re in a second skin. Every gear change, the engine note, the induction noise, everything makes you feel connected to the car. Everything makes you feel in control.

If you haven’t figured out by now, I absolutely love my M3. I had the pleasure of spending 2 glorious days driving her up from Cape Town, to her new home in Johannesburg. It’s a 08 E92 Manual with 58’000kms on the clock. Now for some pics….

That's an awesome write up bud, and I can only echo your sentiments! And the M3 in white really suits the car best.

The 335's might be faster in a straight line, but they just cannot compare with the whole package you get with the M3. Of course I'm biased :)

Enjoy the car my man and many happy miles with her

Yes it was Platform 62 in Ashton.
We then took the N1 to Worcester, joined the R60 and then finally the R62 till Oudtshoorn. We got up to Graaf Reniet via the R341 and N9, stayed the night and joined the N1 up at Colesberg to get back into Jhb.
