I'm a new BMW owner and i love the brand , i have a problem , when i went on holiday my vehicle had a problem with the charging system and the alternator was repaired after a about 20km driving the ABS light , Traction Light and Automatic transmission lights came on , the vehicle is no longer changing gears as normal and on take off it sounds like its taking off on a high gear , can anyone assist on this ,

......... the ABS light , Traction Light ........

except for the Automatic transmission light, the first two lights I had a similar issue, and in my case it was the ABS module
maybe something with wheel speed sensors could be your issue

Get someone to do diagnostics that should let you know what's wrong.

Get your cars Computer Read for Errors.
Auto box is most likely in LIMP mode and usually in that mode, i think only 2 Forward gears work ( I stand corrected )

But could be few things.
Best to get it Scanned rather than troubleshooting blindly

OR

Get yourself the wireless OBD2 reader, its like 250 on Gumtree and download OBDFusion ( cost is about 90bucks for the app ) from your Play store and read the codes

Then you can do it yourself..
