cars like this should come standard with an advanced driving course

All high performance ///M vehicles have a standard High Performance Course specific to that vehicle eg: M5 or M6 or M3 specific courses.

..But unfortunately stupidity always wins at the end....

Sad to see such a vehicle destroyed:cry:

Having personally wrecked an M car (and surviving the crash too) I can say this:

Anything can happen in the blink of an eye, this isn't a case of more money than skill or whatever, but shit happens.

What I can also attest to is the superior safety of an M car. It is amazing, and it saved my life.

I got out of that with only a concussion... So in closing, don't judge guys - everyone's a great driver while playing ps3 or when sitting at their keyboard, but when you're placed in the same position, it'll probably go pear shaped too...

Fuzz, I still get shivers when I see your wreck. Reminds me of how an uncle died in a 7, rolled with no seatbelt.

High performance cars should be sold once the prospective buyer has passed a basic physics course. :fencelook:

My dad has been driving an M car since 1993. He has had ONE prang with his second one (was not speeding was just impatient, he caused that cock up). And yes he drove them just like all of us drive our cars fast.

I had the 323i e36 as my first car, one night I felt like superman and lost it around a corner. I had 3 passengers in the car. Fortunately we only span around once and got dug into a patch of moist(almost muddy)ground. That night I got my wake up call. I could have killed 3 people. I have since then never driven enthusiastically without the consent of my passenger(and only if there is one of them), never in the rain and never on roads I don't know. If you do those things are looking for trouble.

If you are going to drive like an idiot you don't deserve and appreciate any performance car. There is honestly no excuses for going into corner to quickly.

Mechanical failures happen and that is understandable.

And accidents.

Don't get me wrong I love speed and corning quickly and all that stuff. But there is time and place for everything.

Sorry rant over.
