I have to agree re the turbo's being a sad fact...

Went from a E85 Z4M to a E90 335i, and although they do a very similar runs to 100km/h, I would have to say that the NA motor was better. I miss the raspy engine noise, the super sensitive throttle control and the general driving chaos that came with it...

The turbos and the "calmness" of the new car makes me feel detached.
Need to drive the 1M to have a proper comparison though. Anyone wanna lend me their keys?

As for the new shape above...:inlove:
It looks awesome.

I have a solution for you ... JB4

You will soon be in love with your 335i

Its not the fact that there is a tiny bit of turbo lag, its the fact that M was always about specially tuned powerful N/A engines with RWD.

Hmmm not so sure... But all of the late models I have grown to love, ie the X6(but def not the GT:yuck:)

But I'm sure it will grow on me when I see it in person, the only thing was the M5 didn't really wow me when I saw it in person:flyfun:

Also I read somewhere that the 2 doors now will be the 4-series? But the 4-doors will keep the number 3? Not sure...

I remember looking for pics of the current M3 before it was released and none of the pics came close to the end result lol. But if the new one looks anything like the pic,it will be epic :inlove:

I wonder if BMW will ever go the super-turbo charging way, like VW?

I love the BMW NA engines, but not against turbo technology to be honest!
