got the car checked out by Gizmo, he was happy with it so we picked it up friday afternoon, went to Gizmo early saturday morning for further inspection and got her on the lift and covers removed - Gizmo was amazed by the condition and says engine looks brand new , and the R120k asking price was definately worth it
has small oil leak from the gearbox which i will have checked out ASAP - but apart from that Gizmo says it looks like a museum car, the interior and paint really looks like a 5yr old car.
previous owners really took PROPER care of it and didnt skimp on maintenance
interior is phenominal , LOVE the nappa leather, thought with the sport back ride&seating would be somewhat harsh but it's not, it's very very comfortable and soaks up uneven road surfaces like it gets paid to.
performance is quite good, depending on if you're in D or S - quite a significant difference in the 2 modes but she will stay in D 90% of the time.
It doesnt quite push you back into your seat but goes where you point quite briskly.
steering is much heavier than our 320d so took some time getting used to.
consumption...well you dont buy a 330i for consumption - she's got some alcoholic traits lets just leave it there.
i can rant and rave about her for hours - been wanting a 330i for 16yrs and its been worth the wait, and genuinely cant imagine myself selling her
