Hi guys.

I've been on here for a while but I haven't been active though.

On thursday morning I got a call from a dealership and they offered me quite a lot for my Fiesta so I agreed.
My wife did not want to go through to Edenvale friday morning to pick the car up and I did not want to wait till next weekend.
So me and my brother in law took the road on at 3am. Arrived at the dealers around 9am. Forgot how shit the Jhb traffic is but it still gave me time to sort insurance.

Upon arrival this is the beaut we saw.

Was not looking at a car or thinking about trading my Fiesta as the car is paid for but it all just went so fast. Had the choice between this 2011 320d M-Sport or a 2010 Focus ST but had to do the sensible thing and took the beemer.

The drive back home was very nice. Car felt solid. Did not really try to drive nice but we received an average of 15.3km/l with speeds between 130km/l and 150km/l unless we overtook.

Car looks spotless and clean.

Will load more pics later today. Want to clean it first. We received some rain on the road back home so excuse the dirty car.

My father in law works for BMW so he will have the car checked out for me. I see there is 60 000 km worth of services that's not stamped in the book. Doesn't feel as if something is wrong with it.

Sweet

Congratulations man! Sometimes dealers forget to stamp the book but it's all recorded electronically if it was serviced through BMW - the books are sort of becoming redundant..

Wish you many safe miles:coolShake:

Thanks guys.

Will find out from BMW about the service history.

And now she's clean again

Does anyone know where I can fine the gloss black kidneys? Really not going to paint anything on this car.

Also what replacement filter works the best? BMC?

Thanks

So went to Centurion this weekend. Told my wife that the car pulls to the left so I wanted to balance the wheels and do wheel alignment.

This is what we found on the right hand side front wheel.

So I replaced both the front ones with two new runflat bridgestone potenza re050's.

What do you guys use as a spare?
My front tyres is 225/45R17 and rear is 255/40R17.

Next on my list will be a wheel reverb. And maybe a colour change as well.

Went to Klerksdorp on Saturday. It'seems about 360km's from my house. On my way there I did not really care about the consumption. The drive should have taken me 4hours but it took us 3hours. Consumption was around 14km/l.

Excuse the dirty car

On my way back home I was on cruise control 120km/h and received this consumption. I did notice that if the aircon is on, the car uses 1l/100km more.
