New BMW iDrive

Hi guys

I just want to know what do you guys think of the new iDrive, it came out first in the seven and most of the BMW's with pro nav that was produced after July i know the 3,4,5,x5,x6,1,2,m2,m3,m4,m6 got it after July if you opted for pro nav.



What do you guys think of it?
And what is the main new features and what is different besides menu layout.

I've got the latest iDrive on my F80 M3 which comes with the prof nav. I compared it to my friend's iDrive on his F82 M4 which he purchased last year. The new 1 is more functional, there is some minor changes on the idrive buttons and the layout on the screen is more graphical compared to the previous version which has a lot of text. Overall its great.
