When are these meetups? I'd be down if it didn't require too much driving :)

Also, anyone interested/bored, I wrote about my driving and buying a car experience in SA on my blog for all my friends back home. You guys might find this article entertaining as it's coming from an American perspective!

Hah thanks guys. Started the blog because bunch of friends back home wanted to make sure I am still alive hah. Unfortunately the perception of South African safety doesn't resonate strongly with foreigners even though I feel completely fine being in Sandton for the last two months.

I moved here with my company for a few years and honestly, just wanted to do something different. NYC is great for sure, but I just wanted to mix it up and have a new experience. There aren't too many Americans here and certainly 0 Asian-Americans that I've seen but it's all good, the people here are very friendly, food is delicious and cheap, and weather is perfect. So far so good!

Hi JC

Just started reading your blog and its quite entertaining to get a foreign perspective on our country.

I have one minor correction you need to make, especially since you are now a card toting member of the Tractor Club. Diesels are better for the environment that "Gas" cars. We are the future, way less emissions.
