NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY

this holidays i felt like making a change. so i got rid of the Mk2 VR6 and replaced it with a 1995 E36 328i convertible. the car had 255000km on the clock and everything was just perfect besides:

1. the headlights were the crap aftermarket ones. i have since made it look a bit better but will install the original ones with quad projectors and angel eye rings.
2. the idler gear had a rattle. will be sorted by end of next week.
3. the control arm bushes were shot. i have ordered polyurethane ones.
4. rear plastic window on the soft top had two holes. the seller has ordered a new one and will deliver this to me as soon as he receives it.
5. the sound system had no bass but plenty piercing trebble. so i installed an amp and a sub. (thread for this to follow)

here are the pics of the car (before and after mods mixed):

things still to do (wants and not needs):

1. cold air induction system
2. subwoofer and amp install
3. convert viscous fan to 16" electric
4. quad xenon and angel eye install
5. change complete interior colour
6. change the wiper blades to the E90 style full rubber ones
7. install a sunroof to the hard top
