New 6 series revealed

Noooo no no. All Bmw's are starting too look the same. The 3, the 5 and now the 6. Its like BMW lost inspiration and is going the safe route. Wheres the love or hate looks we've grown use to. Don't get me wrong they are all good looking cars. Thats like blaming aston martin for making all their cars look the same but what i loved about BMW is the fact that you would hate the looks when it comes out. Like the e60 5-series and then three years on you would realize but this cars looks was just ahead of its time. Its actually a stunning looking car.

when the 645i was launched back in 03, i was really excited, this new one looks like a fiddled 3 series coupe

I like, its got proper coupe proportions unlike the 3 series coupe. I think in the flesh this will have a an awsome presence. It quite abit bigger than teh 3 series aswell.

You forget that the styling has been very similar in BMWs all through history. I like, and its a huge improvement over the old 6. More agressive.

I must say that I do like it, but the wheels and lights seem to be too much "bling" - the interior is nice though! I agree with the "fiddled 3 series" look. Even the new 5 Series is like a longer, wider version of the existing 3 Series which may come across as bland and playing it too careful, but rather that than the "kicked in the nose" nostrils that some of the other newer BMWs have, the 5 GT, 7 Series and X1 comes to mind...

Nice car but Eish why all the series must look similar..I personally
do not like the front ie the nose my bru has got new 530 d and the front
is not to pleasing but that is my opinion..I change my cars every 18 months but I think I will keep the M3 for along time maybe slap on an ESS Supercharger kit when I need more power...but otherwise the new 6
looks well finished......:thumbsup:

I am glad the see the kidney grilles are becoming smaller again, that is a good thing, now they should just put the bonnet split below the grilles again.

There is something about this car that I can't quite put my finger on, in the first pic it looks awesome, but the more pics I saw the worse it looked. I might have something to with the front bumper it looks a loot like the e92 f/l front bumper, kinda looks like the bumper styling of alpina, which doesn't look very good.

The headlights and the tailpipes also look a bit too bling I think.

I can't wait to see what it looks like in real life, I think the pics don't tell the entire story and I quite like the look of it. :thumb: One thing that worries me is the "6 series coupe" license plate, really hope they don't make a four dour:hammerhead:

its more like a 5 series coupe than a new shape 6 series, its losing its identity i think. but some details on it are great though.

BMW's throughout history have resembled each other.

Those look rather similar in my opinion, same front grill, bumper, similar lines. Headlights similar, mags are even pretty similar.
