New 335i

Hi guys,

Drove the new 335 yesterday and all I can say is wow.

I have a E92 335 Manual and the new one will leave me for dead.

It was the 8 speed auto, but the gear box is amazing. Super quick changes.

Car pulls very strong through the rev, range no hint of lag at all.

But what really sold me was the noise the exhaust makes when you changing gears manually.

BMW have made the 335 a whole lot better, so much better that I am already placing my order for the new 335 coupe when it gets launched.

I agree with you totally, I have the new spec motor which the same as in the f30 335, also drove one and it will leave mine for dust, when shifting manually the noise it makes is sooooooo good, the new 335 is awesome, can only imagine it in the dct guise. The days of manual transmission is fast becoming over!

On a different note, I drove an E92 M3 , DCT for the first time today.

Amazing box, the changes are quick and precise, I was loving it on the harshest setting.

But I would still take a manual.
