According to this link, runflats wil not be standard equipment but optional extras.

This is the German BMW site thou... hope it spills over to SA.

Service Plan is also optional...

I hope so for the sake of Mpumalanga roads, all new bmw's come with a sparewheel.

Service Plan optional ? I wonder....

Now that's more like it! RFT's are great, but at least be given the option to choose, and hopefully this means you have a proper spare wheel!!

Well I would assume that the initial price should be quite a bit lower without the service plan :dunno:

You get the Luxury, Modern and Sport and then they mention some Base/entry level model too. The 320d Dynamic Edition is 31000 pounds... Dont know if this includes Motorplan thou.

different options for different countries.

when the mk5 gti came out in sa,leather was standard,in the uk it had cloth and leather which suited it much better,and two doors

Agreed they always different if BMW SA decided to make BMW's come out without Motorplan standard I think People would stop buying them.

The 3 series is built here as well so that puts us in a bit of a different position than other countries
